(AKA How to stop missing your team’s games!)
Thanks to the wonders of MLB.TV, pretty much every game can be seen live over the ‘net. The only handicap in Britain is the time difference factor.

Coming to the end of the first month of the 2006 season, there has already been lots of moments to enjoy. Thanks to a new addition on MLB.com, British baseball fans have been able to see them all.
As a bit of a departure, I'm going to delve into the world of sabermetrics today, focusing on “Win Probability Added Graphs”.
What really hits you when you start getting interested in baseball is just how many different avenues there are for you to explore, such as the history of the sport or the world of stats. They are fascinating by themselves but more than anything they help you to appreciate and love the game more as a whole. A couple of weeks ago I looked at one of these off-shoots; Fantasy Baseball. Apologies to those of you who have visited over the last few days only to find nothing (or very little!) here. WordPress have experienced a few major problems over the past few days which has affected all of the many blogs on the system. Logging into your site and finding all your posts have gone isn't a nice experience, but thankfully WordPress are constantly backing-up all of the blogs so they have been able to completely restore everyone's content. The WordPress guys have been working hard to fix the problems, and to hopefully stop them happening again. So everything should be back to normal from now on. Thanks for your patience, and sorry again.
Five or six games is a small sample size from which to draw any conclusions. Still, the long-suffering fans of the Brewers and the Tigers won't be bothered about that right now!
Finally, we are back into the swing of the Major League season. Despite the massive amount of anticipation, there was no danger that it would be an anti-climax.
