For the second week in a row, my Isotopes used their home run power to beat SWAT 6-4. Trumbo hit five homers while Encarnacion, Kipnis, Beltran and McCutchen each went deep twice. The bullpen had to chip in with victories, and Romo (four saves) and Chris Perez obliged. Craig, Cano and Beltre helped SWAT take average, while Goldschmidt and Adam Jones swiped three bases each. Shields helped take ERA and WHIP.

The best thing I can say about the Chasers’ early season performance is that it can only get better! Not liking my chances against the Isotopes this week though.
