Normally there will be one day, possibly two, in the working week when there are no early games and we will have around 10 games spread out over those days to choose from.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n
However, as the season is just getting underway, we\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve got early games every day this week and 26 games in total.\u00c2\u00a0 That makes for lots of games to enjoy live at a convenient time for us in the UK.<\/p>\n
Monday 4 April<\/strong><\/p>\n 19.10. Atlanta at Milwaukee (Beachy \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Narveson) * ESPN America There are six games in the Majors on Monday and three take place during the daytime.\u00c2\u00a0 D-Backs and Cubs fans can enjoy all three games of their series, the Braves-Brewers game is on ESPN American,\u00c2\u00a0and\u00c2\u00a0Jake Arrieta pitches the home opener at Camden Yards.<\/p>\n Tuesday 5 April<\/strong><\/p>\n 19.20. Arizona at Chicago Cubs (Galarraga \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Cashner) The second game of the D-Backs-Cubs series is the only true early game on Tuesday, with the other two beginning close to midnight.\u00c2\u00a0 Andrew Cashner won the last spot in the Cubs\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 rotation and he makes his season debut in this one against former Tiger Armando Galarraga.<\/p>\n Wednesday 6 April<\/strong><\/p>\n 18.10. L.A. Angels at Tampa Bay (Haren – Hellickson) * ESPN America Take your pick from this promising selection of games.\u00c2\u00a0 The Haren-Hellickson match up is a great way to start the evening\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s action, while watching King Felix taking on the thumping Texas batting lineup should be a real treat.\u00c2\u00a0 Chris Carpenter, Chad Billingsley and Tim Lincecum are fun pitchers to watch too.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n Thursday 7 April<\/strong><\/p>\n 17.05. Boston at Cleveland (Lester – Carmona) There is another good group of games on Thursday.\u00c2\u00a0 Fausto Carmona doesn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t need to be facing the Red Sox after his horror show in his first start of the season, but that\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s the card he\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s been dealt.\u00c2\u00a0 There were plenty of rumours about the Yankees looking to trade for Francisco Liriano over the offseason, so it will be interesting to see how he does against them for the Twins.\u00c2\u00a0 Edwin Jackson takes on one of his former teams at the Cell, while a Roy Halladay start is always worth watching.<\/p>\n Friday 8 April<\/strong><\/p>\n 19.05. NY Yankees at Boston (Hughes – Lackey) * ESPN America Start your weekend off with one or more of these early games, including the first Yankees-Red Sox game of the season and a start by the Mets\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 knuckleballer R.A.
