So I&#8217;ve given the British baseball history initiative a new typeface, a new colour scheme, and a new website (and I&#8217;ve capitalized the &#8220;COBB&#8221; bit of the name). As part of this, I&#8217;ve also freshened up other related webpages, most notably that of the\u00c2\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbhof.org.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">British Baseball Hall of Fame<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To go to the home page for the new website, click <a href=\"http:\/\/www.projectcobb.org.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The result is something that I hope is a lot less confusing to people not closely associated with Project COBB, as it means that unlike before &#8212; when a user had to jump between the GBBSA and the Project COBB areas of the website to be able to access all of the different archives &#8212; everything is now &#8220;under one roof&#8221;. The archives I originally created on the GBBSA website (before Project COBB even existed) &#8212; specifically, the national team archive and the one for top-tier stats and feats &#8212; have been transitioned across to the Project COBB site.<\/p>\n<p>It is worth me stressing that Project COBB will continue to offer support to trainee scorers if this is desired, as the mission for this online collaboration remains not only to restore the game&#8217;s past in this country but also to ensure the preservation of its future.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As part of my plan to stand down from the role of Southern Scorers Commissioner and webmaster for the Great Britain Baseball Scorers Association (GBBSA) by the end of the current season, I&#8217;ve needed to tease Project COBB and the GBBSA apart.
