All days but Monday offer us at least one game beginning before midnight and\u00c2\u00a0there is plenty of choice on Wednesday (nine early games) and on Thursday (six).\u00c2\u00a0 All times are in BST.<\/p>\n
Monday 23 May<\/strong><\/p>\n No early games<\/p>\n Tuesday 24 May<\/strong><\/p>\n 20.10. Arizona at Colorado (Saunders – De La Rosa)<\/p>\n We start our working week of live baseball in Denver.\u00c2\u00a0 The Rockies missed out on Interleague play over the weekend as they faced the Milwaukee Brewers in the NL-only part of the schedule.\u00c2\u00a0 Familiarity didn’t help Colorado as they were swept by the Brew Crew.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n Meanwhile the D-Backs swept the Minnesota Twins to make it six wins on the spin.\u00c2\u00a0 That left Arizona just half a game behind the Rockies in the NL West prior to this series.<\/p>\n Wednesday 25 May<\/strong><\/p>\n 17.05. Boston at Cleveland (Lester – TBA) There’s plenty of choice on Wednesday.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0It will\u00c2\u00a0be\u00c2\u00a0fascinating\u00c2\u00a0to see how Cleveland match up against the Red Sox\u00c2\u00a0in this series\u00c2\u00a0and Wednesday’s game will be the finale.\u00c2\u00a0 Zack Greinke makes his fifth start of the season for the Brewers, presumably against Jason Marquis who had a temper tantrum after being taken out of Friday’s game against the Orioles.<\/p>\n Erik Bedard has pitched extremely well of late and the M’s will be hoping he can keep on the mound after several injury ravaged years.\u00c2\u00a0 It’s Aneury Rodriguez pitching for the Astros rather than Wandy, while there’s no clarification needed for the latest game to start.\u00c2\u00a0Carpenter and Latos should combine to make for an excellent pitching contest at Petco.<\/p>\n Thursday 26 May<\/strong><\/p>\n 17.35. Kansas City at Baltimore (Francis – Bergesen) There are only eight games scheduled to be played on Thursday and all but two will be early starts.\u00c2\u00a0The game being shown on ESPN America will be determined by a poll on their website and either would be a good match-up.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n The prospect of a Cliff Lee start might push some towards that encounter, yet if Boston’s fan base wins the day then we should have the chance to\u00c2\u00a0watch Max Scherzer.\u00c2\u00a0 He\u00c2\u00a0was handed his first loss of the season last time out, but has been outstanding for the Tigers and is developing into a genuine frontline starter.<\/p>\n Elsewhere, Jeff Francis will look to build on his excellent performance against the Cardinals last Friday, while\u00c2\u00a0the combination\u00c2\u00a0of R.A. Dickey’s knuckleball and a windy Wrigley could make for a very interesting game.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n Friday 27 May<\/strong><\/p>\n 19.20.
