\"\"<\/a>We’re in to the final quarter of the MLB regular season.<\/p>\n

It makes every series, and every winning or losing streak, feel just that little bit more important.<\/p>\n

There are several eye-catching series this week between playoff contenders, most notably Atlanta at Washington, Baltimore at\u00c2\u00a0Texas, New York Yankees at Chicago White Sox, L.A. Angels at Boston and San Francisco Giants at L.A. Dodgers.<\/p>\n

It’s a bit of a shame that none of these series are scheduled to include a day-game, but we will be\u00c2\u00a0able to see several playoff contenders in action this working week and the highlight of the pre-midnight U.K. time schedule should come on Thursday with Justin Verlander starting against the Toronto Blue Jays.<\/p>\n
