{"id":16837,"date":"2013-06-17T18:54:37","date_gmt":"2013-06-17T17:54:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/baseballgb.co.uk\/?p=16837"},"modified":"2013-06-17T18:54:43","modified_gmt":"2013-06-17T17:54:43","slug":"mlb-this-week-double-headers-on-tuesday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/baseballgb.co.uk\/?p=16837","title":{"rendered":"MLB this Week: Double-headers on Tuesday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/baseballgb.co.uk\/wp-content\/CovHlWE.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-11196\" title=\"CovHlWE\" src=\"https:\/\/baseballgb.co.uk\/wp-content\/CovHlWE.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"220\" height=\"226\" \/><\/a>Tuesday rarely offers an opportunity to catch some live MLB games during the British evening, but this week is an exception thanks to two double-headers.<\/p>\n<p>The Rays and Red Sox are playing two at Fenway this Tuesday, whilst the Mets and Braves are also doubling up.<\/p>\n<p>Teams do sometimes switch their starting pitchers when double-headers come along, but hopefully the Mets will stick to their normal rotation and send Matt Harvey out to the mound for the opener.<\/p>\n<p>As for the Rays, their exciting hitting prospect Wil Meyers is due to make his Major League debut on Tuesday, although it seems as though he will only play in one of the two games and we don&#8217;t yet know if he&#8217;ll feature in the day-game.<\/p>\n<p>There are MLB games starting before midnight U.K. time each evening from Tuesday onwards this working week. ESPN America also will be continuing its coverage of the College World Series. This includes a game at 20.00 on Friday night despite their being an early MLB game that evening, although to be fair to the broadcaster the MLB offering is Astros-Cubs that even their fans would admit is not likely to be a \u00e2\u20ac\u02dccan\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t miss\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 event for neutrals.<\/p>\n<p>All times are in BST.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Monday 17 June<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>No early games<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tuesday 18 June<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>18.05.
