\"CovMLBUK2014\"<\/a>We’ve got ten early MLB games this working week after a slow start to the pre-midnight schedule on Monday and Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The games include some of the playoff contenders looking to add wins to their collections.<\/p>\n

The Houston Astros and San Francisco Giants are playing a short two-game interleague series this week, which seems strange to type after the Astros were a National League team for so long.<\/p>\n

Both teams will be looking for a return to better form. Houston will go into the series having lost six of their previous seven games, including their last three against the A’s, whilst the Giants are reeling from being swept in a four-game series by the Cubs.<\/p>\n

Thursday brings games including the Mets, Blue Jays and Cubs, whilst on Friday we have the first game from the latest Windy City series.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere Jose Fernandez was scheduled to start on Wednesday against Boston, but a right biceps strain will see him back on the Disabled List instead.<\/p>\n
