\"CovMLBUK2014\"<\/a>With just two weeks of the MLB regular season to go, there is still plenty to play for and that’s shown in the games starting pre-midnight UK time this working week.<\/p>\n

The Angels and Astros are playing a potentially crucial three-game series this week and the finale on Wednesday is a day-game for us to enjoy. Meanwhile their rival in the AL West\/Wild Card race the Texas Rangers take on the Oakland A’s in an early game on Thursday.<\/p>\n

The week will end with the start of a big series from Wrigley Field between the Cubs and the Pittsburgh Pirates.<\/p>\n

The White Sox and Tigers are in early action twice and although neither team has had the season they hoped for, that’s unlikely to reduce the enthusiasm on Wednesday if – as scheduled – we get a pitching duel between Chris Sale and Justin Verlander.<\/p>\n
