Shelby Miller returns from the Disabled List for the Arizona Diamondbacks in their game on Monday against the Phillies. Miller has been a desperate disappointment so far in his first season with Arizona and the D-Backs can only hope that his time on the sidelines has not only got him healthy but given him a chance to clear his head and start to perform as they hoped he would.<\/p>\n

Wednesday’s batch of seven early games are highlighted by a World Series re-match between the Royals and Mets – made even better by the scheduled starting turn of star turn Bartolo Colon – and a Cards-Cubs match-up that is currently in line to involve Michael Wacha and Jake Arrieta.<\/p>\n

Thursday’s early games include a contest from Fenway Park between the Red Sox and the White Sox. James Shields has not impressed his new team’s fans since his trade for San Diego to Chicago. Taking on Boston’s batting lineup may not be exactly what he had in mind as an opportunity to turn things around.<\/p>\n
