The\u00c2\u00a0Koreans\u00c2\u00a0lost 4-2 to the Netherlands yesterday at the same venue in front of 3,500 fans, conceding three runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to let an early 2-0 lead go to waste.\u00c2\u00a0 They managed only five hits against the Dutch and their 3-to-6 hitters went a combined 0-for-14 with one walk.\u00c2\u00a0 \u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n
South Korea have been one of the top-performing teams on the international circuit in recent years,\u00c2\u00a0winning the\u00c2\u00a0Olympic baseball tournament\u00c2\u00a0last year and narrowly losing to Japan in the World Baseball Classic final back in March.\u00c2\u00a0 Although the make-up of international baseball team rosters can vary quite considerably from event to event, any Korean side is going to include plenty of talented ballplayers.\u00c2\u00a0 It will be yet another tough test for Great Britain, but one that they should relish.<\/p>\n
