We begin with an upset as the ‘Cuse, at the top end of the standings for almost the whole season, have been knocked out by the Angels. Derrek Lee and Raul Ibanez were the Angels’ star hitters, while Ted Lilly anchored the pitching staff. The ‘Cuse had nice production from its infield, but the lack of saves and holds cost them.<\/div>\n

The Bangers got the better of Bonestalkers 5-3. The Bangers’ star hitter was Lance Berkman, while Adam Wainwright was the pick of the pitching staff which did not win a single category. Vernon Wells and Victorino were Bonestalkers’ star hitters, while Sabathia, Scherzer and Beckett put up good numbers.<\/div>\n
