\nLast week we had a choice of nine early games on ‘get away’ Thursday.\u00c2\u00a0 This week it’s only three, all coming from the American League.\u00c2\u00a0 We begin with a game between two teams that have really disappointed so far this season.\u00c2\u00a0 The Mariners and the Tigers meet at 18.05.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 Five minutes later, the resurgent Rangers face Livan Hernandez and the Twins in the Metrodome.\u00c2\u00a0 The pick of the games starts at 18.35 though, as the finale of the Royals-Red Sox four-game series sees Daisuke Matsuzaka looking to improve his record to 8-0.\u00c2\u00a0 Later on, there’s a cracking game in prospect at Turner Field as Johan Santana and Tim Hudson square off from midnight.<\/p>\n
