It’s a meagre crop of ‘early’ games this working week with only six MLB contests beginning prior to midnight UK time.<\/p>\n

The A’s and Royals are playing a day game today as part of an MLB-NFL double-header, with the Kansas City Chiefs hosting the San Diego Chargers in the U.S. evening.\u00c2\u00a0 Bobby Cramer will make his Major League debut for the A’s.<\/p>\n

Wednesday brings us the third game of an important four-game series between the Padres and Rockies, while the Reds look to edge closer to securing the NL Central title on Thursday with a day game at home against the Arizona Diamondbacks.<\/p>\n
