We start with the biggest winners of the week, as Batteries Essential move up to second with the 9-2 win against Bits & Bytes. An offensive sweep was led by Gattis (three homers, seven runs, eight RBIs), while Brantley hit .538 and scored nine times, joining Davis, Castro and Billy Hamilton with a pair of homers. Chen was the pick of the pitchers with a win and seven strikeouts and no earned runs allowed. King Felix and Kershaw helped a short Bits & Bytes staff take ERA and WHIP, but it was a week to forget for the offense.

My Isotopes saw their winning streak snapped at four by the Sox, who picked up an offensive sweep on the way to an 8-4 win. Morneau drove in 10, Rizzo homered twice and new Phillies hits leader Rollins swiped three bases. Phelps and Greinke helped take ERA and WHIP as the Sox just made it over the 20 inning minimum limit. It was a forgettable week for the Isotopes hitters, but at least Leake struck out 10 and teamed with harang to collect wins and Howell had two holds. Soriano had the lone save of the matchup.

An 8-4 win against the Angels sees Jesmond back at .500. Trout, Pujols and Dickerson keyed an offensive sweep while Hawkins had three saves and Broxton notched a hold. In a very good week for the Angels’ pitchers, Iwakuma (11 strikeouts) was one of six pitchers with a win, teaming with Wainwright, Niese, Keuchel and Kazmir to take ERA and WHIP.
