There are plenty of opportunities to watch some live baseball this working week, with four of five days offering at least one MLB game staring before midnight UK time.
The week begins with a game from Citi Field as Bartolo Colon takes to the mound – and, just as importantly from a viewer’s perspective, to the batter’s box – against the Chicago Cubs.
After a fallow evening on Tuesday, there are four early games on Wednesday in which Oakland and Seattle are in action against NL East teams, whilst Toronto and Milwaukee meet in an important series between two teams looking to make the playoffs.
The headline story on Thursday will come from Tropicana Field when David Price visits with his new team, the Detroit Tigers, just a few weeks after being traded away by the Rays.
The working week then ends, or perhaps we should say the weekend begins, with a day-game from Wrigley Field as the Cubs host the Orioles in an Interleague match-up.
All times are in BST.
