We’ve got eight early games this working week that begin before midnight UK time.
Wednesday’s encounter between the Brewers and Cardinals catches the eye thanks to the excellent pitching match-up in prospect. The Rangers-Rays game that day should be fascinating as well.
Mat Latos looked very impressive on Saturday against the Giants despite finishing up with a ‘no decision’. The young Padres starter has a great fastball and a devastating breaking ball and the Cubs will be in for a battle against him at Wrigley on Thursday. That will be the second straight Padres-Cubs game played at a convenient time for us Brits and Chicago will be hosting another day game on Friday as the Braves head into town.
