Andy Murray is the scourge of baseball fans once again. 5 Live Sports Extra is shuffling the schedule to accommodate his match from the U.S. Open today, so the Rangers-Twins game will not be on after all.Â
The inital plan is for the MLB show to begin at 8 p.m. and for the team to bring us the Colorado Rockies-San Diego Padres game; however, Murray’s game hasn’t even started yet and no doubt that will take precedence and be broadcast to its conclusion.Â
Hopefully an MLBÂ game will be broadcast this evening, but as to when it starts and which game it will be, we’ll just have to wait and see.
In the meantime, you can enjoy a recent interview with Jonny Gould conducted by freelance sports journalist Joshua Modaberi as part of his World Sport podcast series.

BBC’s coverage of baseball is a joke. Next week with the atart of the NFL instead of an early game as promised they are scheduled to broadcast the Cards @ Braves starting 12.30 am. At least we dont have to wait for Andy Murray any more!
