We begin with a big win for the Stuff, who defeated daebhid2 11-1, including a sweep of the pitching categories. Haren and Vazquez were the pick of the starters while Mets closer Isringhausen had three saves and ex-Mets closer K-Rod picked up a win and two holds. Teixeira had a big week with the bat, clubbing three homers and scoring and driving in seven. Dave took steals thanks to Ellsbury but was hurt by the injury to Brian McCann.

Another matchup, another 11-1, as the Vendors thumped Bonestalkers, this time sweeping the offensive categories. In a huge week for his hitters, Steve had excellent numbers from Votto, Pedroia and company, while his pitching staff took five categories, led by Verlander’s near no-hitter and two wins from reliever Tony Sipp. Bonestalkers had nice weeks from Michael Young and Zobrist, while Putz, Nunez and Hanrahan combined for seven saves.

A sweep of offensive categories helped the Sox defeat Iron Men 9-3. Kemp, Howard, Braun and Rollins all had good weeks, while Niese and Morrow racked up the strikeouts despite high ERAs. Freese and Fielder were Iron Men’s top hitters, while Valverde made the difference in saves and Beachy, Pineda and Danks helped win ERA and WHIP.

A sweep for my pitching satff helped the Isotopes defeat the Angels 9-3. The clear star of the show was Ervin Santana, whose no-hitter against the Indians was a big help in wins, ERA and WHIP. It was also a good week for the bullpen, as Axford, Bailey, Madson and Bastardo combined for a win, a hold, six saves and didn’t allow an earned run. Hosmer was the pick of my hitters. The Angels had huge weeks from Adrian Gonzalez, Ryan Zimmerman and Howie Kendrick.

Redbacks got the better of the Bet 6-4 by taking five offensive categories. The catching combo of Molina and Mauer joined Bonifacio and Cuddyer in having big weeks, while Hudson collected a win and 13 strikeouts. The Bet had speed including five steals from Crisp, while the entire pitching staff put up ridiculously good ERA and WHIP numbers. I don’t think I’ve ever seen an ERA as low as 0.34 before!

Pitching made the difference in SWAT’s 6-4 win over Beck ‘Nams, taking five out of six categories. Worley, Niemann, Gallardo and new Cardinal Edwin Jackson all picked up wins, while Soria, Salas and Marmol combined for four saves. Alex Gordon scored nine runs and homered three times, while JJ Hardy went deep four times. Ibanez hit three homers and drove in nine for Beck ‘Nams, while Jeter had seven RBIs and Konerko, Utley, Wright and Bay all drove in six.

The Chasers just got the better of the Yankees 6-5, taking three hitting and pitching categories. Tulo, Arencibia and Uggla helped make the difference in RBIs, average and OPS, while Cueto and Greinke each picked up a win and helped take ERA. Billy Butler and Justin Upton each had monster weeks with the bat for the Yankees, combining for nine homers, while the bullpen of Rivera, Street and Robertson took care of saves and holds and Tomlin and Cain made the difference in a closely-fought WHIP category.
