The big game of the week is tonight’s World Baseball Classic final between Korea and Japan.  A preview of that encounter will be published this evening, but before then we can look ahead to the Spring Training games being broadcast on MLB.tv over the working week (all times stated in GMT). 

Monday 23 – Two games today.  We start at 17.05 with a game between the Marlins and the Astros.  While Spring Training games don’t count for much, Houston will be hoping that they can at least get a few more wins on the board before the regular season begins.  They’ve won just four games out of twenty so far this spring.  First pitch for the second game of the day is set for 20.10, where the Brewers take on the Rockies.

Tuesday 24 – There are four games on MLB.tv on Tuesday, split evenly between early starts and later ones.  In the two early games, the Astros are on again at 17,05, this time against the Mets, while the White Sox face the Indians at 20.05.  The two later games bring us the Red Sox versus the Yankees (Spring Training Edition) at 23.15 and the Mariners versus the Dodgers at 02.05.

Wednesday 25 – We have another slate of four games on Wednesday and once again it’s the Astros who lead the way.  Their contest against the Cardinals begins at 17.05, with the Tigers and the Mets getting their game underway five minutes later.  Two NL East teams collide at 23.05 when the Nationals welcome the Braves to their Spring Training home.  The final game of the day sees the D-Backs taking on the Rangers from 01.05.

Thursday 26 – Thursday brings us five games, none of which involve the Astros.  We start at 17.05 with the reigning World Series champs against the Yankees.  Two games are set to begin at 20.05: the Angels versus the Indians and the D-Backs versus the White Sox.  First pitch between the Twins and the Reds is scheduled for 23.05, with the final game of the day between the Cubs and the Giants due to start at 02.35.

Friday 27 – There are another five games to end the working week, spaced out so that you should be able to watch at least one whether you are staying in for the evening or if you want to see a game before/after an evening out.  Two games begin at 17.05: the Tigers versus the Braves and the Rays versus the Twins.  It’s a Windy City clash from Arizona at 20.05 as the Cubs face the White Sox.  The Nationals take on the Mets from 23.10, while the Brewers and the Rangers round things off from 01.05.
