BST Guide to this week’s early MLB games: Nine to enjoy

We’ve got nine ‘early’ MLB games this working week. It’s a slightly unusual schedule in that we’ve got a rare early game on Tuesday, while there are only two games on Thursday, the normally bountiful source of pre-midnight UK time contests.

We’ve got two games from the White Sox-Tigers series, a Twins-Rays contest on Thursday and two Cincinnati Reds games including a Friday day-game at Wrigley against the Cubs.

In terms of the probable pitching match-ups, Wednesday offers the most enticing game as the latest exciting young pitcher developed by the Giants, Madison Bumgarner, takes on the Rockies and Ubaldo Jimenez.
